

Asad Choudhary is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in the Faculty of Ed. at Western University with research interests in the wellbeing of Islamic school principals. He was a former principal and was awarded the 2016 Alberta Distinguished Leadership Award while serving as principal for the Palliser School Division. Asad presently serves as a professor of Early Childhood Leadership at Fanshawe College, a faculty fellow at Niagara University, and a course instructor for teacher candidates at Western University.

Dr. Asma Ahmed is an assistant professor at Niagara University, Faculty of Education. Her research revolves around supporting and improving a more equitable education system. She completed her principal qualification program as recognized by the Ontario college of teachers and has worked in Islamic schools for the past 20 years. Asma has a deep passion for Islamic education and hopes to see Muslim educators connecting and collaborating to serve the children of our community.
